These terms apply to the Hangar macOS app and hangar.iney.app, provided by Iney. By downloading, installing or using Hangar, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app and your tools

Hangar organizes local terminal sessions into workspaces. It requires macOS 14 or later. You are responsible for the commands you run, their access to your files and services, and keeping appropriate backups. Hangar is not an AI service: Claude Code, Codex and other third-party tools require their own installation, accounts and, where applicable, payment. Their own terms apply.

Trial and license

The full app is available for a 14-day trial starting on first launch, with no card and no automatic charge. After the trial, a valid license is required for the full feature set. A license is personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable, and covers up to three Macs you personally own or control at one time.

A Lifetime license is a one-time purchase that includes future updates to Hangar for as long as the product exists. It does not require us to develop particular features or maintain the product indefinitely.

Purchase and payment

Hangar Lifetime costs $39 USD, paid once. Payment is processed through Lava.top, whose checkout terms also apply. The final amount, including any applicable adjustments, is shown at checkout. Prices may change for future purchases; an existing Lifetime license does not become a subscription.

Acceptable use

• Do not share, resell, sublicense or fraudulently obtain a license.
• Do not circumvent licensing or reverse-engineer the app except where applicable law permits it.
• Use Hangar and any connected tools only for activity you are authorized to perform.

We may revoke licenses obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these terms.

Refunds

Use the trial to check that Hangar meets your needs. New purchases do not include change-of-mind refunds. Duplicate charges, qualifying unresolved technical problems and refunds required by law or the payment provider’s terms remain covered. See the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Ownership, updates and availability

Hangar’s name, design and software remain the property of their respective owners. Third-party components retain their own licenses. Features may change, and we may discontinue the product. Updates are currently installed by downloading a newer DMG from this website.

Warranty and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hangar is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data, profit or goodwill, to the extent such limitations are permitted. These terms do not exclude liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
